Dr. Desai has been named a Top Hand Surgeon by US News & World Report. Recognized as a Top Doctor by a nomination process of his peers, only 220 Hand Surgeons were recognized nationwide and Dr. Desai and one other hand surgeon were selected from the state of Virginia.
Dr. Desai Elected President of Southeastern Hand Club.
Dr. Desai has been elected the 35th President of the prestigious Southeastern Hand Club, one of the oldest regional hand surgery study groups in the United States. The Club, whose membership is by invitation only, consists of leading hand surgeons from academia and private practice who meet regularly to discuss the latest techniques and medical science.

Our office has completed a project to convert to completely digital and paperless systems. In keeping with global best practices, all of our medical records, X-rays, and MRI’s are now stored in a secure, digital format to improve efficiency and to expedite patient care.

Dr. Desai was recently invited to speak to his colleagues at the Southeastern Hand Club’s Annual Meeting in North Miami Beach, Florida. His presentation, Minimally Invasive Trigger Digit Release in an Office Setting, shared Dr. Desai’s experience in developing a procedure that speeds patient recovery.
